[Lifeguard Systems]Did you ever wonder how dive accidents occur? What are the little things that divers do all the time and get away with it - except that one time?

Come and join us for an exciting 2 1/2 day hands-on Rescue Weekend designed for divers of all levels. Learn how to save another diver in a diving emergency, and most important, learn how to prevent accidents from occurring and how to save yourself.

The Program: Nothing happens 'till it happens

You will participate in more than 15 hands-on, live-action, realistic first aid and dive accident scenarios. Stop wounds from bleeding, stabilize compound fractures, perform CPR, administer oxygen, perform basic field neurological evaluations of dive injuries, throw rescue bags, transport patients in and out of water, deal with gas bubble injuries, myocardial infarction, hypothermia, hyperthermia, dehydration, and much more.

The Trainers: We'll Change the Way You Dive[Picture of George]

All LGS instructors are international rescue trainers, noted public speakers, award winners, authors, and instructors for CPR, Basic Life Saving, First Aid, Oxygen Administration and Field Neurological Evaluation, EMS, and designers of specialty programs.

Certification: You Choose

Upon completion you'll receive certification for either NAUI Diving Rescue Techniques, or PADI Rescue Diver and a LGS Certificate of participation. Also available are American Red Cross CPR certification (request at course begin) and 16.0 Elective Continuing Education Units towards EMT-A recertification.
