[Divers Alert Network]The course "Oxygen First Aid in Dive Accidents" will introduce divers to better recognize possible dive-related injuries and to provide emergency oxygen first aid. It also provides an excellent opportunity for experienced divers and instructors to continue their education.

Take Action...

bulletRecognize signs and symptoms of major dive accidents including near drowning and decompression illness (AGE and DCS).
bulletIdentify all component parts of an oxygen kit and learn proper assembly, deployment and use.
bulletProvide oxygen to an injured diver by demand inhalator valve and mask, and constant-flow with non-rebreather mask.
bulletPractice mouth to mouth rescue breathing using a pocket mask with supplemental oxygen inlet.

After completing this course you will be entitled to purchase and use your personal oxygen kit.
